HOT DOG MAN - ADVENTURE ISLAND

Adventure Island is a scenic, pristine 11-acre island on the Delaware River (also known as Resolution Island) where kayakers, rafters, canoers and tubers can stop to take a break from their river adventure. Adventure Island also serves as the official home of the Famous River Hot Dog Man.  There are lots of fun things to do on Adventure Island, which include eating fresh island BBQ on a picnic table in the water, skipping rocks, swimming and enjoying the gorgeous view of the river.  You'll feel like you're in paradise at Adventure Island.

• PICNIC TABLES IN THE WATER: The Famous River Hot Dog Man is the Original River Hot Dog Man that has been serving tubers, rafters, canoers and kayakers delicious hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and nachos since 1987.  You can enjoy your food and drinks on picnic tables in the water, which is an amazing experience on a beautiful and hot summer day.  Let the water, which averages in the high 70's to high 80's, cool your feet while chowing down on great food and beverages.


• SCENIC VIEWS: Adventure Island is located in scenic river country, which offers spectacular and breath taking views that you will never want to forget.  You will be completely immersed in mother nature and can see the Delaware River, Devil's Tea Table and the local wildlife from a unique perspective. There are no stop signs, street lights or man-made objects in view while at Adventure Island (except our picnic tables and cool floating hot dog stand).


• SWIM & PLAY: Adventure Island is located west of Rush Island and south of Treasure Island on the Delaware River.  The water averages 2 to 4 feet deep next to the island with great conditions for swimming. The average water temperature ranges from the mid-70's to the high-80's. Many guests like to enjoy lunch while their children swim right next to them as they eat our delicious food!  The kids will love visiting us!


• PERFECT "MEET UP" SPOT: Adventure Island is a great place to set as a "meet up" spot in the event that your party gets separated while tubing, rafting, canoeing or kayaking down the Delaware River.  There are signs on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides of the river that direct river adventurers to our island.  It's never a bad idea to be prepared as the Delaware River is a natural waterway with different routes you can take while floating.

River kayakers, canoers, rafters, tubers, boaters and fishermen are all welcome to stop and visit us while enjoying a fun day on the river. You can smell the mouth-watering BBQ upriver and there's no doubt that you'll want to stop and eat at our unique restaurant. We have more than just hot dogs! Besides our famous and original river hot dogs, we now offer cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers and nachos with cheese! Wash it all down with an ice-cold soda, lemonade or bottled water. You can finalize your stomach's desires with an ice-chilled Snickers, Milky Way, Twix or bag of potato chips! You are now MORE THAN ready for river fun! Anyone can enjoy Adventure Island, even RC, TRT or KC customers!
